Do you think that Ron Paul is a closet anarcho-capitalist and/or individualist anarchist?

Some of what he says seems to point in this direction to a degree, I am wondering if you think that he is secretly an anarcho-capitalist of the Rothbardian variety. I think he might me, but he just doesn’t want to come out and say it in order not to shock people and diminish his already small chances. Personally, I am an anarcho-capitalist so I would have no problem with this. So is Ron Paul a closeted anarchist?

The fact that he actively participates in our government leads me to believe that he is not an anarchist. He does, however, believe in the most minimal government possible.

  2. Freddie Adu About Nothing Says:

Ron Paul is 100% anarchist. He just wears the Republican label to fool people. He is a 100% pro-drug, anti-law, anti-moral libertarian (libertarian means anarchist).

I’m not an ancap, but in my understanding, ancapism, like individualist anarchism, condemns border controls.

Ron Paul’s campaign has emphasized his support for border controls.
