Why are Ron Paul supporters completely insane?

Why do these new-age zealots feel the need to remind us about Ron Paul at every chance they get? Meanwhile, Paul still maintains about a 3% in the polls (in a statistical tie with Alan Keyes). It’s not working guys. I admit, I like your candidate a hell of a lot more than I like Hillary Clinton or some of the Republicans, but come on guys.

  2. voodoogeisha Says:

do you realize that the polls are asked of people who voted for GW Bush? polling is one of the most corrupt things in the US, and that’s saying a lot.

i am a Paul supporter, and i promise you, i am quite sane.

  3. DaddyBoy Says:

    Its called a campaign.

  4. N. Cognito Says:

So you’re saying that if someone supports the only candidate who upholds the law, that person is insane?

  5. The Pirate Queen Says:

They are about as insane as the Hillary Clinton supporters who say, “I’m voting for Hillary because she’s a woman!” ARE YOU &%$#ING CRAZY????

Hope springs eternal. ANYTHING but The Hildabeast or Osamma Yo Momma.

  7. nanna Says:

I guess that wanting my elected officials to answer to and be held accountable by the electorate is insanity, eh? Well then count me in. Further I am completely crazy over the idea of returning to constitutional government.

  8. Bad M Says:

    Ron Paul supporters new age?
Wow – you have got to be kidding!? Right?!
There is nothing “new age” about Ron Paul or his supporters. He DOES have some zeal filled supporters.

Say what you will about the man but he does make the B-O-R-I-N-G Republican campaigns a bit more interesting.

  9. whatuknowaboutthat3 Says:

    he is insane

  10. Speed_Phreak Says:

I’m not new age or a zealot. I happen to like the guy’s politics. I’m not delusional about his chances, but what would you have me do? Vote for the most likely winner? I’m sorry, but I can’t do that. My heart tells me Paul is the best choice. He will get my vote, win or lose.

  11. jamie s Says:

I thought that “polls don’t matter” to Republicans.. Are you new to the party?? Or is it just like everything else to the right wing.. “doesn’t matter unless I agree”… Like when Rush Limbaugh quotes the NY Times and says “See!! Even the NY Times agrees with me here”.. hahahaha..

The Pirate Queen- I wonder if you’ve ever actually “honestly” heard that in real life.. I’ve heard people talk about it on the news ie “will women vote for her just because she is a woman?”… Honestly, never heard ONE person say that in real life.. Have you?? Ever??

  12. stunna3m Says:

What a ridiculous question. so only insane people were able to raise 6mil in one day…come on. Look at the issues man Ron Paul is the obvious choice.

  13. Dr. Ron Paul Says:

    I’m just crazy about freedom

  14. Maren McKahon Says:

Why is it “insane” to support a candidate you actually agree with, as opposed to a candidate that’s selected by a party machine based upon their LAST NAME and the amount of money they have accepted from rich donors whose vested interests are expected to be looked after once the election is over?

  15. TheDude Says:

you sound like the Pharisees complaining about Jesus

but don’t worry i don’t think Ron Paul is a god , just the best man for the job

Israel went into exile only after it became divided into twenty-four sects.”1

Although we cannot be sure of the exact number, there can be no doubt that at the time of the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D., the Jewish community comprised numerous parties, sects and brotherhoods. Recent scholarship has questioned and effectively destroyed the concept of a monolithic “Judaism” that existed during the Second Temple (516 B.C. – 70 A.D.). Furthermore, Josephus’ famous listing of the standard divisions — Pharisees, Sadducees, Essenes, and the “Fourth Philosophy” (the Zealots) — is simply not adequate in conveying the mosaic of Second Temple Judaism. The new source material (e.g. Dead Sea Scrolls) which has become available in recent years, as well as a reassessment of information from the known sources (e.g. the Pseudepigrapha) have indicated a number of “hidden streams” during the period prior to the fall of the Temple

Yes, we are insane… what an insane idea to want to follow the Constitution… and we don’t want to be in an illegal war, wow insane right?! We are excited about freedom, what is wrong with that, really??

  17. geegee Says:

A vote for Ron Paul is like not voting at all! You can believe in a person with all of your heart but, there comes a time when you must weigh the chances of this person succeeding against throwing your vote away, I would rather have a say in someone who does stand a chance of winning the primaries & the National Election than in backing someone who stands no chance. But, it is a free country, so they can do as they wish.

  18. LadyZania Says:

I am not a paul supporter, but I would be if there were not two great candidates that I like much better. They are Kucinich and Gravel, in that order. I like some of Paul’s ideas, though, and I would never consider supporting ANY of the other conservative candidates. I will vote for Paul, if my only choice is between him and any of those corporate owned, CFR member, PNAC/NWO/NAU supporting front runners…regardless of the party. *sm*

  19. oracleofohio Says:

I’m a Ron Paul supporter and I’m not insane. I think there is just as much information on here about all of the other candidates. People are passionate about freedom and change and therefore passionate about Ron Paul. If you see it as insanity why don’t you take a good hard look at what he has to say and either join us or find another candidate that you are passionate about? I don’t think any of us care if you think we’re insane, we just want everyone to be just as passionate about their own candidate and participate in the process. :)
